Maintain supplier contacts

To search for contacts associated with the supplier:

  1. Maintain suppliers to update the supplier and display the CONSUMABLES—SupplierEdit Form.
  2. Select the Contacts tab and select the Contacts node in the Folder Items list
  3. Where a query form is presented in the bottom of the right-hand grid, then enter criteria and click the Query button to filter the content returned to the grid.
  4. Where the Properties main menu option is enabled, to further filter the grid content based on column criteria, select the Properties main menu option and filter data using column criteria. Refer to Using the Screen Interface.

To create a contact:

  1. Click New to display the AddNew form.
  2. Enter the New code.
  3. Click OK to creates the contact and open the CONSUMABLES—SupplierContactEdit Form to update the contact details, as required, or click Cancel to not proceed.

To review a contact:

  1. Double-click a Contact to open the CONSUMABLES—SupplierContactEdit Form.

To update a contact:

  1. Double-click a Contact to open the CONSUMABLES—SupplierContactEdit Form.
  2. Enter the Contact name, Title and Department.
  3. Click ... to locate and upload a Picture file for the contact.
  4. Enter the Email, Telephone and Fax details.
  5. Click ... to locate and upload a Notes file for the contact.
  6. Where the contact has an address that is different to the supplier's address, check the Use contact's address check box to enable the address fields for entry, then enter the Address1..3, State, Country and Postcode details.
  7. Click Save to close the form and save the changes, or click Close to close the form.

To enter custom details for a contact:

  1. Where the LIMS is configured to allow for the entry of custom details for the supplier contact, click User screen in the main menu to open the custom form to update the custom details, as required.

To delete a contact:

  1. Click Delete.
