Add to the list of licensed computers

Using the V3 Licence application:

  1. Double-click Licence in the Configuration menu group on the V3 Menu, or locate and run the licenceapp.exe file, to display the licenceapp > Licence Form.

  2. Click , then select Manual Add to add a row to the licence grid.

    The Computername defaults to the current computer. Change this, as required.

  3. Enter the Description.

  4. Click Save Details.

Using the V2 Licence application:

  1. Click the Licence icon on the V2 Menu, or locate the Licence.exe application in the Exe foler to display the LICENCE—Licence Form.

  2. To automatically add the computer currently in use, together with the username, to the list of non-concurrent users:

    1. Click Auto add to display the LICENCE—AddLicence Form.
    2. Enter the Description.
    3. Click OK.

  3. To manually add a different computer to the list of non-current users:

    1. Click Manual add to display the LICENCE—AddLicence Form.
    2. Enter the Description.
    3. Check Enable licence to make this computer licence in use.
    4. Click OK.
  4. To automatically add a user by running any CCLAS EL application:

    1. Run the CCLAS Menu or any CCLAS EL application. If the number of workstations currently running CCLAS EL is less than the number of concurrent licensed users specified in the LICENCE table, and the total number of workstations registered to runCCLAS ELS is less than the number of non-concurrent licensed users specified in the LICENCE table, when any CCLAS EL application is run, then the computer name and username is automatically added to the LICENCE table.
