Maintain pricing schedules
To search for pricing:
- Click Setup in the CCLAS EL menu or run the Config.exe application in the Exe folder to display the Config Form.
- Select the Pricing node.
- Where a query form is presented in the bottom of the right-hand grid, then enter criteria and click the Query button to filter the conversion codes returned to the grid.
- Expand the Pricing node, then expand the node for the particular conversion code. Select the BOOK node to review book prices, or select the QUOTE node to review quote prices.
- Where a query form is presented in the bottom of the right-hand grid, then enter criteria and click the Query button to filter the invoice conversion's book or quote price codes returned to the grid.
- Where the Properties main menu option is enabled, to further filter the grid content based on column criteria, select the Properties main menu option and filter data using column criteria. Refer to Using the Screen Interface.
To create an analyte-based (ANA) pricing schedule:
- Click New to display the PriceSaveAs Form.
- Select the Price type and Conversion code.
- Enter the Price code and select the Pricing structure as ANA.
- Click OK to create the pricing structure and open the PriceEdit Form, or click Cancel to not proceed.
- Enter the Description and Invoice Note.
- Enter the Base price and Base note.
- Either apply a fixed block price:
- Enter the Price for analyte.
- Or apply a range-based block pricing structure grid:
- Click >> to display the block pricing structure grid, then:
- Enter rows in the grid, and for each row, enter the Values up to, Portion size and Price of portion.
- Where prices are determined from a single row matching the range, then check the Non-aggregate check box. Where prices are determined from each row up to the row matching the range, then uncheck the check box.
- Click Save to persist the changes, or click Close to not proceed.
To create an hourly-based pricing schedule:
- Click New to display the PriceSaveAs Form.
- Select the Price type and Conversion code.
- Enter the Price code and select the Pricing structure as HLY.
- Click OK to create the pricing structure and open the PriceEdit Form, or click Cancel to not proceed.
- Enter the Description and Invoice Note.
- Enter the Base price and Base note.
- Either apply a fixed block price:
- Enter the Price per time portion.
- Or apply a range-based block pricing structure grid:
- Click >> to display the block pricing structure grid, then:
- Enter rows in the grid, and for each row, enter the Time up to, Time portion size and Price of time portion.
- Where prices are determined from a single row matching the range, then check the Non-aggregate check box. Where prices are determined from each row up to the row matching the range, then uncheck the check box.
- Click Save to persist the changes, or click Close to not proceed.
To create a scheme-based pricing schedule:
- Click New to display the PriceSaveAs Form.
- Select the Price type and Conversion code.
- Enter the Price code and select the Pricing structure as SCH.
- Click OK to create the pricing structure and open the PriceEdit Form, or click Cancel to not proceed.
- Enter the Description and Invoice Note.
- Enter the Base price and Base note.
- Either apply a fixed block price:
- Enter the Price per analyte.
- Or apply a range-based block pricing structure grid:
- Click >> to display the block pricing structure grid, then:
- Enter rows in the grid, and for each row, enter the Analytes number up to, Price per analyte, Min price in range and Max price in range.
- Where prices are determined from a single row matching the range, then check the Non-aggregate check box. Where prices are determined from each row up to the row matching the range, then uncheck the check box.
- Click Save to persist the changes, or click Close to not proceed.
To create a sample-based pricing schedule:
- Click New to display the PriceSaveAs Form.
- Select the Price type and Conversion code.
- Enter the Price code and select the Pricing structure as SAM.
- Click OK to create the pricing structure and open the PriceEdit Form, or click Cancel to not proceed.
- Enter the Description and Invoice Note.
- Enter the Base price and Base note.
- Either apply a fixed block price:
- Enter the Price per sample.
- Or apply a range-based block pricing structure grid:
- Click >> to display the block pricing structure grid, then:
- Enter rows in the grid, and for each row, enter the Samples per range, Price per sample, Min sample price and Max sample price.
- Where prices are determined from a single row matching the range, then check the Non-aggregate check box. Where prices are determined from each row up to the row matching the range, then uncheck the check box.
- Click Save to persist the changes, or click Close to not proceed.
To copy a pricing schedule:
- Expand the Pricing » Conversion code » BOOK node.
- Double-click a Price Code to open the PriceEdit Form.
- Click Save As to display the PriceSaveAs Form.
- Select the Price type and Conversion code.
- Click OK to create the pricing structure and open the PriceEdit Form, or click Cancel to not proceed.
- Enter the pricing schedule required for the selected Price type, as outlined above.
To review a pricing schedule:
- Expand the Pricing » Conversion code » BOOK node.
- Double-click a Price Code to open the PriceEdit Form.
To update a pricing schedule:
- Expand the Pricing » Conversion code » BOOK node.
- Double-click a Price Code to open the PriceEdit Form to update the entity, as required.
To delete a pricing schedule:
- Click
Delete.
