Maintain analytes for a scheme

To search for analytes of the scheme:

  1. Maintain schemes to update the scheme and display the SchemeEdit Form.
  2. Select the Details tab and select Scheme node in the Folder Items list.

To create an analyte for the scheme:

  1. Click New to display the AddNewAnalyte Form.
  2. Enter the New code, or click ... to open the PerTable Form, select an element from the periodic table and click OK to return the element as the new code.
  3. Click OK to create the scheme analyte and open the SchemeAnalyteEdit Form to update the scheme analyte details, as required, or click Cancel to not proceed.

To review a scheme analyte:

  1. Double-click an Analyte Code to open the SchemeAnalyteEdit Form.

To update a scheme analyte:

  1. Double-click an Analyte Code to open the SchemeAnalyteEdit Form.
  2. Enter the Short name, Analyte name, Userdefined name and Description.
  3. Select the Analyte type.
  4. Select the Analysis unit code.
  5. Where the Analysis type is NUM:
    1. Enter the Analysis detection limit and Analysis upper limit.
    2. Enter the Limiting repeatability and Statistical detection limit.
    3. Select the Upper scheme and Upper analyte.
  6. Enter a Formula, if required, click fx to test the formula, and amend if required.
  7. Select Qc active, Status active, Reporting active and Invoicing active, as required.
  8. Select the Reporting unit code, Rounding table code and Rep sequence.
  9. Where the Analysis type is NUM, enter the Reporting detection limit and Reporting upper limit.
  10. Enter the Formatting mask and Sequence.
  11. Enter the Column Width and MDE Formatting mask.
  12. Enter Lower limit 1, Lower limit 2, Upper limit 1 and Upper limit 2, as required.
  13. Click Save to persist the changes, or click Close to not proceed.

To enter custom details for a scheme analyte:

  1. Where the LIMS is configured to allow for the entry of custom details for the product rule, click User Screen in the main menu to open the custom form to update the custom details, as required.

To delete a scheme analyte:

  1. Click Delete.
