CLIENT—ClientEdit Form
This form is used to configure clients.
Processes associated with this form

Flows:
- Browse—Return to the main client form.
- Close—Close this form.
- Save—Save form updates.
- Save as—Save the current entity as a new entity.
- Delete—Delete the current entity.
- User screen—Open the custom form contained in the ClientUser.SCR screen file, if it exists, to enter custom details for the client.
Form:
General tab:
- Client name—The name of the client.
- Notes file—DOC, TXT or HTM file containing general notes about the client. The contents of this file can be displayed when jobs are profiled for the client.
- Address line 1-3—The address of the client.
- State—The state in which the client is located.
- Country—The country in which the client is located
- Postcode—The postal code for the client.
- Telephone—The phone number for the client.
- Fax—The fax number for the client.
- Email address—The email address for the client.
- Priority—The priority is used to determine the relative priority of jobs from the client, compared to the priority of other registered jobs, to schedule sample analysis in the laboratory. 1=high, 99=low. The PriorityUnitGLOBAL setting defines the priority units.
- Date last used—The date on which the client was last used to register a job.
- Date last visited—The date on which the client was last visited.
- Date last contacted—The date on which the client was last contacted.
- Job notes—Miscellaneous notes for any job registered for the client.
- Password—The password used when the client accesses CCLAS over the Web.
- Client active—Indicates whether the client is active for job registration. Where the check box is not checked, when a job is created for the client, then a warning is given to the user.
- Disabled—Indicates whether the client is disabled in the system. Where the check box is checked, although the client still exists in the system, the client is not visible in any application except the Client application.
Miscellaneous tab:
- Invoice client code—The code of the client to receive invoices for jobs registered for this client.
- Account manager—The staff member who manages the client's account.
- Cost code—The cost centre to which the client's work is allocated.
- Account system code—The link to the client's details in an external accounting system.
- Prompt payment days—The number of days up to which a discount is applied if invoices are paid within a specified number of days.
- Prompt payment discount—The discount applied to the invoiced amounts if invoices are paid within a specified number of days.
- Report template—The template file used as the default template to generate analytical reports for the client.
- Data template—The template file used as the default template to generate data files for the client.
- %age discount—The discount applied to an invoice raised for the client.
- Invoice conversion code—The invoice conversion code used to raise line items in invoices for the client.
- Tax flag—The method of calculating tax for the client:
- NIL—No tax.
- SCH— Tax rates are taken from the tax codes linked to each scheme.
- CLI— Tax rates are taken from the tax codes linked to the client.
- Invoice terms—The invoice terms for placing on invoices raised for the client.
- Tax codes—The tax codes used when the Tax flag is CLI.
- Picture / logo file—The file containing an image of the client or their logo.

- Folder items—Child details for the client:
