Control Layers
Every object displayed in the Viewport is on a layer.
When you edit data, you are editing the active layer. By default, the 0 layer is the active layer. Only this layer or a custom layer can be the active layer.
If you are in the maintenance (edit) mode for a mine block, set of design lines, surface, strata or drill pattern, the Active Layer control displays above the Properties Pane. Use this control to select which layer is active.
Imported data; for example, from a .dxf file, may have custom layers.
Each pattern type in DataBlast Ignite also has fixed layers. The Layers Toolbar (Overview) includes options to toggle the display of fixed layers.
Important: If you display an object or pattern in the Viewport and cannot see the expected data, always check which layers are visible.
