Start the DataBlast Ignite Application

Note: You need a licence key to run the DataBlast Ignite application. For further information, see the Datamine License Manager help. Contact your Datamine representative for assistance with licence keys.

Activity Steps

1. Double-click the DataBlast Ignite desktop icon, or select DataBlast Ignite from the Windows Start menu.

   If the Datamine License Manager application finds a valid licence, the Mine Site Selection and Login screen displays.

   Note: If you have changed your monitor configuration (number of monitors or their layout) since you last used DataBlast Ignite, a prompt displays asking if you would like to reset the DataBlast Ignite layout.

   To force a reset of the size and position of DataBlast Ignite screens, press and hold Ctrl while double-clicking the icon or selecting the application from the Windows Start menu. This step may be required if you open DataBlast Ignite with different external monitor configurations.

2. To register a licence key:
   1. Click Register License Key.
   2. Enter the licence key.
   3. Click OK.
3. To import a mine site:
   1. Click Import Mine Site.
   2. Search for and select the .mdf or .zbk file. See File Formats.
   3. Click Open.

      Note: If the database version does not match the current version of DataBlast Ignite, a prompt to upgrade the database displays. Click Yes.

4. To use a previously imported mine site, select the Mine Site.
5. Click Log In.

   Note: A warning displays if the mine site is missing some configuration. See Configure Mine Site Settings.
