Edit Hole Details

These hole properties can be edited in the Properties Pane. However, use this activity if you have many holes to edit.

Note: Only holes for which the Locked property is False can be edited.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Design module.
  2. Right-click a drill pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Edit Selected Drill Pattern in Designer from the menu.

    The drill pattern displays in design mode.

  3. Select holes if required. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
  4. On the Holes Ribbon Menu, click Hole Editor.

    The Hole Editor displays.

  5. Select the Hole Set from All Holes and Selection if required. Only applicable if a subset of the holes in the pattern were selected. If set to Selection, the displayed holes update if you select or deselect holes in the Viewport.
  6. Select the Sort Order from Row and Echelon.
  7. Filter holes in the table if required:
    1. Select the filter type from Equals, Does Not Equal, Starts With, Contains, Ends With, Does Not Start With, Does Not Contain and Does Not End With.
    2. Enter a filter value in the blue field below the filter type.
  8. Edit the following hole details as required:
    • Collar Type—Select from Surface and relative level (RL).
    • Collar Value—Only editable if Collar Type is RL.
    • Toe Type—Select from Surface, RL and Fixed Length.
    • Toe Value—Only editable if Toe Type is Surface or RL.
    • Drill Toe Offset
    • Charge Toe Offset
    • Use Charge Surface
    • Projection Style—Select from Collar Down or Toe Up. Only editable if Toe Type is Surface or RL.

    Tips: Double-click a value or checkbox to edit the value. Press Enter or click another cell to store a changed value. To change a value for all holes, click the column heading before changing the value in one cell. To change a value for multiple holes, select the cells before double-clicking one cell to edit the value. Press Esc to clear a selection of cells.

  9. Click Save Changes.
