Design Hole Redrills
Activity Steps
- Select the Design module.
- Right-click a drill pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Edit Selected Drill Pattern in Designer from the menu.
The drill pattern displays in design mode.
- Select holes if required. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
- On the Holes Ribbon Menu, in the Hole Patterns group, click Design Redrills.
The Redrill Design screen displays.
- Define the Specification:
- Select whether to Create Redrills for Selected Holes Only. If unchecked, all holes in the pattern are considered.
- Select whether to Create Redrills for Holes Short by More Than. If checked, enter a length.
- Define the Redrill Position relative to the original holes:
- Bearing
- Distance
- Configure Hole Options:
- Select whether to Abandon Original Holes.
- Select whether to Create Redrill Holes as a New Pattern. The new pattern name is a concatenation of the original name, _Redrills-, and a numerical suffix.
- Configure Toe Offsets if required:
- Drill Toe Offset—A negative number creates holes that are drilled below the drill toe surface. A positive number creates a holes with a standoff above the drill toe surface.
- Charge Toe Offset—Enter a value if you do not want to load explosives at the bottom of the hole.
- Click Save Changes.
