Generate and Print a Dip Sheet
This video, recorded using an earlier version of DataBlast Pro, provides an example of how to generate and print a dip sheet.
A dip sheet is a report of the holes in a drill pattern. The report is designed to be printed to facilitate manual collection of measured field data.
The design and content of the report is fully customisable. A typical dip sheet may have fields for the measurement operation, including the date and operator. For each hole, the report lists the hole ID and drilled depth. There is space for entering the dip depth, water, wet wall, temperature and time for each hole.
The collected data can be entered manually. See Enter Dip Data.
Activity Steps
- Select the Measure module.
- Select one or more drill patterns and reporting patterns in the DataBlast Items Tree.
The pattern displays in the Viewport.
- On the Measure Ribbon Menu, in the Dip group, click Dip Sheet.
The Report Designer screen displays a print preview of the dip sheet for all holes in the displayed patterns.
Note: If there is more than one Dip Sheet report template (see Maintain Report Templates), the Report Template Selection screen displays. Select the required template and click Select.
- To print the report, click Print and adjust print settings as required.
- To edit the design of the report or maintain report templates, see Maintain Report Template Designs.
