Create a Flyrock Safety Boundary
The flyrock safety boundary represents the maximum range of the blast; that is, the distance around the firing pattern that flyrock might reach. This boundary displays as a polyline that encloses the flyrock circle range of all the holes in the firing pattern.
The Flyrock Factor of Safety setting in the Advanced Mine Site Settings is required for this calculation.
Activity Steps
- Select the Firing module.
- Select a firing pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.
The firing pattern displays in the Viewport.
- Ensure that the firing pattern is not yet authorised. See Authorise a Firing Pattern.
- Select the firing pattern. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
- On the Firing Ribbon Menu, in the Utilities group, click Create Flyrock Safety Boundary.
- Click Save Changes.
