Add or Remove Holes in a Charge Pattern

Note: A charge pattern can only have holes with diameters that are within the specified Charge Diameter Variance. See Advanced Mine Site Settings.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Charge module.
2. Select a charge pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.

   The pattern displays in the Viewport.

3. To add holes:
   1. Select one or more drill or reporting patterns in the DataBlast Items Tree.

      The pattern(s) display(s) in the Viewport.

   2. Select holes as required. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
   3. On the Charge Ribbon Menu, in the Holes group, click Add Holes to Charge Pattern.
   4. If a charge standard has already been set for the charge pattern, on the Charge ribbon menu, click Reapply Charge Rule to apply the charge standard to the new holes.
4. To remove holes:
   1. Select holes as required.
   2. On the Charge ribbon menu, in the Holes group, click Remove Holes from Charge Pattern.

      A confirmation message displays.

   3. Click Yes.
5. Click Save Changes.

   A tooltip on the charge pattern node in the DataBlast Items Tree displays the number of holes in the initiation pattern.

   The icon for the charge pattern node in the DataBlast Items Tree displays a warning icon if a charge standard is still required for one or more holes.
