Extract Holes to a New Charge Pattern

Note: A charge pattern can only have holes with diameters that are within the specified Charge Diameter Variance. See Advanced Mine Site Settings.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Charge module.
2. Select a charge pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.

   The pattern displays in the Viewport.

3. Select holes as required. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
4. On the Charge ribbon menu, in the Holes group, click Extract to New Charge Pattern.

   A question about the charge standard type displays.

5. Click Yes if the new charge pattern will have a G-Blast charge standard, or No if the new charge pattern will have a conventional charge standard.

   The Charge Standard Selection screen displays the defined Charge Standards for the hole diameter and of the applicable charge standard type.

6. Select the Initiation System Type from Non-Electric and Electronic.
7. Select the required charge standard.
8. Click Select.

   The changes up to this step are saved automatically.

9. Modify the charge rule if required.
10. On the Pattern Charge Rule Ribbon Menu, click Return to Charge.

    The default name for the new charge pattern is a concatenation of the original charge pattern and -1.
