Add or Remove Holes in an Initiation Pattern

Activity Steps

1. Select the Initiation module.
2. Select an initiation pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.

   The pattern displays in the Viewport.

3. Select one or more drill, reporting, charge or blast patterns in the DataBlast Items Tree.

   The pattern(s) display(s) in the Viewport.

4. To add holes:
   1. Select holes as required. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
   2. On the Initiation Pattern Ribbon Menu, in the Holes group, click Add Holes.

      The Detonator/Cord Selection screen displays. You can dock this screen. See Dock or Move Panes.

5. To remove holes:
   1. Select holes as required.
   2. On the Initiation Pattern ribbon menu, in the Holes group, click Remove Holes.
6. Click Save Changes.

   A tooltip on the initiation pattern node in the DataBlast Items Tree displays the number of holes in the initiation pattern.

   The icon for the initiation pattern node in the DataBlast Items Tree displays a warning icon because timing is still required.
