Authorise an Initiation Pattern

When an initiation pattern is authorised:

• No further changes can be made.
• The initiation pattern can be assigned to a firing pattern. See Add or Remove Holes in a Firing Pattern.

The authorisation cannot be removed if the initiation pattern is assigned to a firing pattern.

To authorise an initiation pattern:

1. Select the Initiation module.
2. Select an initiation pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.

   The initiation pattern displays in the Viewport.

3. Select the initiation pattern. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
4. On the Initiation Pattern Ribbon Menu, in the Initiation group, click Authorise.

   A confirmation message displays.

5. Click Yes.

To remove the authorisation from an initiation pattern:

1. Select the Initiation module.
2. Select a initiation pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.
3. Select the initiation pattern in the Viewport.
4. On the Initiation Pattern ribbon menu, in the Initiation group, click Remove Authorisation.

   A confirmation message displays.

5. Click Yes.
