Import Charge Standards
Note: G-Blast charge standard configuration includes strata (also known as seams). These strata are not exported because they relate to geological data specific to a site. If you export a G-Blast charge standard, dependent G-Blast components and the conventional charge standard that is used when there are no strata intersections are exported. If you import that exported G-Blast charge standard, you need to edit it to select appropriate strata before the G-Blast charge standard diagram can display and the G-Blast charge standard can be used. See Maintain G-Blast Charge Standards.
Activity Steps
- On the DataBlast Application Menu, select Site Maintenance.
The Site Maintenance screen displays.
- Select the Charge Standards » Conventional or Charge Standards » G-Blast node.
- On the Charge Standard Maintenance Ribbon Menu, click Import Charge Standards.
- Browse for and select the .dcst file. See File Formats.
- Click OK.
The Charge Standards Import screen displays a list of the charge standards in the file.
- Select the import Method from:
- Create New Renamed Charge Standards—If a charge standard exists with the same name, a suffix is added to the imported charge standard.
- Replace Existing Charge Standards—If a charge standard exists with the same name, it is replaced with the imported charge standard.
- To filter the list:
- Select the Type from All, Conventional, G-Blast, G-Blast Above Strata, G-Blast Between Strata and G-Blast Below Strata.
- Select the System from All, Electronic and Non-Electric.
Note: Any selected charge standards display even if they do not match the filter criteria. You can also click a column header to sort by that column.
- Check Selected for the required charge standards.
If you select a G-Blast charge standard, all dependent G-Blast components and the conventional charge standard that is used when there are no strata intersections are also selected.
- Click Next.
The Charge Standards Import screen displays a list of the products associated with the selected charge standards.
- Update the Matched Product for each product as required.
If the product with the same name already exists at your mine site, it is preselected. If the product does not exist, an asterisk displays before its name and DataBlast Ignite imports the product when the charge standard is imported. You can select an existing product with matching specifications to use that product, or select the option with the asterisk to import data from the file as a new product. If a product exists with the same name, a suffix is added to the imported product.
- Click Next.
The Charge Standards Import screen displays a list of Z timing zones.
- Update the Matched Z Timing Zone for each zone as required.
If the zone already exists at your mine site, it is preselected. If the zone does not exist, an asterisk displays before its name and DataBlast Ignite imports the zone when the charge standard is imported. You can select an existing zone with matching specifications to use that zone, or select the option with the asterisk to import data from the file as a new zone. If a zone exists with the same name, a suffix is added to the imported zone.
