Maintain Z timing zones

Z timing zones are used in electronic detonator sequencing to apply deck, or vertical (Z), timing.

The colours are used in the firing simulation display and for electronic contour lines in timing contour analysis. See Run a firing simulation and View blast timing contours.

Access Z timing zone maintenance:

1. On the DataBlast application menu, select Site Maintenance.

   The Site Maintenance screen displays.

2. Select the Charge Standards > Z Timing Zones node.

   The Z Timing Zone Maintenance ribbon menu displays.

To add a Z timing zone:

1. Click Add Z Timing Zone.
2. Enter the Z Timing Zone Name. This name is read-only after the Z timing zone has been used.
3. Enter a colour name or click the drop-down arrow to display a colour picker for each of the following colours as required.
   • Black Background Normal Colour
   • Black Background Fired Colour
   • White Background Normal Colour
   • White Background Fired Colour
4. Click Save Changes.

To delete (deactivate) a Z timing zone:

1. Click the arrow row selector for the Z timing zone.
2. Press Delete (on your keyboard).

   A confirmation message displays.

3. Click Yes.
4. Click Save Changes.
