Create a Blast Pattern

Activity Steps

1. Select the Charge module.
2. Right-click a drill pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Add Blast Pattern from the menu.

   The Blast Pattern screen displays.

3. Enter a Name. Default: Concatenation of BP_ and the currently displayed active pattern, if applicable.
4. Click OK.

   The blast pattern displays in the Viewport.

5. Ensure that the blast pattern is the active pattern. See Make a Pattern Active.
6. Add holes to the blast pattern:
   1. Select a drill pattern or reporting pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.

      The pattern displays in the Viewport.

   2. Select holes as required. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
   3. On the Charge Ribbon Menu, in the Holes group, click Add Holes to Blast Pattern.
   4. Click Save Changes.

      A tooltip on the blast pattern node in the DataBlast Items Tree displays the number of holes in the blast pattern.
