Maintain Measurement Entry Templates
You can create templates for drill logs, dip entry, backfill entry, BlastPad dip entry, BlastPad drill entry and BlastPad load entry. The BlastPad dip entry measurement template is also used for backfill, load and prime activities in BlastPad.
The drill pattern type specifies which template is applicable for drill patterns of that type. See Maintain Drill Pattern Types.
For templates for printed sheets, see Maintain Report Templates.

- On the DataBlast Application Menu, select Site Maintenance.
The Site Maintenance screen displays.
- Expand the Measurement Entry Templates node.
- Select Drill Log, Dip Entry, Backfill Entry, BlastPad Dip Entry, BlastPad Drill Entry or BlastPad Load Entry as required.

- On the Measurement Entry Template Maintenance ribbon menu, click Add Entry Template.
Note: For BlastPad measurement entry templates, you can only create one template of each type and cannot specify a Sheet Name.
- Enter the Sheet Name.
- Enter the Default Number of Historical Entries. For example, if set to 2, the properties selected in Historical Properties display as a set of columns with the current values, plus an additional two sets of columns with the most recent historical values. These values are read-only.
- Select the Sheet Properties that are to display in the header section of the measurement entry template.
- For each sheet property, select whether data entry is:
- Required—Required for holes that are not abandoned.
- Required Abandoned—Required for abandoned holes.
- Select the Measurement Entry Properties that are to display for each hole.
- For each included measurement entry property, select whether data is:
- For Entry Only—If checked, the table column is blank, ready for data entry, even if a value already exists in the database. If unchecked, data already in the database displays but only until the user enters an overriding value for any editable property in the table row (that is, for that hole).
