The Status Bar

The Status bar displays at the bottom left of the DTS main screen.

You use the Status bar to view summary information about the selected task and to adjust the magnification of the view. You can also use the bar to jump to orient the Gantt chart to show the start of the selected task.

The Status Bar comprises five "user" horizontal panels, all of which are customizable. Any system property can be displayed in any of these panels. These panels occupy the first five panels from left to right.

The sixth panel contains the results of commands, and you can decide how data is presented here.

The final panel is always the same and contains some useful view adjustment controls. The state of auto-saving is also displayed here (either ON or OFF).

View Adjustment Controls

Panel 7 contains the view adjustment controls.

  1. See the Auto Save state. This is set on the Recovery screen.

  2. Adjust the timeline to show the start of the activity associated with the selected task. See

  3. Decrease the view magnification of all data areas.
