Pivot Table View

A pivot table lets you summarize and group task data in a variety of ways (both on the horizontal and vertical axes). Unlike other pivot table tools (including Excel), DTS is able to create weighted cross tabulations.

To create a pivot table view:

  1. First, load a schedule.

  2. View ribbon >> Create New View >> Pivot Table.

    A new window is created which displays the pivot table for the previously displayed schedule. The window includes a tab so it can be reopened later.

    At the bottom of the window, two further tabs display:

    • Pivot Table – Display and configure pivot table data.

    • Chart — Show summary chart output for your data.
