Project Formulae

Formulae let you calculate values based on other information in your project.

For example, you may want to increase the duration of a particular group of tasks to include a contingency factor made clear from shift pattern reviews, or to adjust a volume to compensate for a standard dilution factor, and so on.

Formulae are constructed in DTS using the Formula Builder. This is displayed in various parts of your application.

Once a formula has been created, it displays on the Formula screen, a part of the Project Settings console.

A formula is an expression that can include a reference to explicit values, fields, functions, constants and lookup tables. One or more formulae can be used to calculate values.
