Import Drillhole Data from ODBC
- On the Discover ribbon tab, in the Drillhole Project group, expand Import Drillhole and click Import ODBC.
The Select Data Source window displays.
- Select the data source from:
- File Data Source
- Machine Data Source
- Click OK.
The SQL Server Login window displays.
- Enter your Login ID and Password.
- Click OK.
The Data Source - Select Tables window displays.
- Browse for and select the required tables.
The Select Table Type window displays.
- Select the type of table being imported from:
- Collars
- Surveys
- Assays
- Lithology
- Click OK.
The Drillhole Project Setup window displays the General tab.
- To change the coordinate reference system (CRS):
- Click the button next to CRS.
The Pick a Coordinate System window displays the XY Coordinate Systems Available.
- Select the required coordinate system.
- Click OK.
- Click the button next to CRS.
- Update the Depth / Length Units if required.
- Select whether the project contains Drillholes or Trenches (or both).
- Click Next.
The Drillhole Location tab displays.
- Browse for and select the required Drilling Collar Table.
- Update the following fields in the Drilling Collar Table field group as required.
- Collar Table
- Hole ID
- Easting
- Northing
- Elevation
- Azimuth
- Dip
- Total Depth (Length)
- Browse for and select the required Drilling Survey Table.
- Update the following fields in the Drilling Survey Table field group as required.
- Hole ID
- Depth
- Azimuth
- Dip
- Select whether Down Dip is negative.
- Click Next.
The Downhole tab displays.
- Browse for and select the required Downhole Tables.
- Click Add.
- Click Next.
The Surfaces tab displays.
- Browse for and select the required Topographic file.
- Click Add.
- If there is Subterranean data, select the data and move it into the Selected section.
- If there is Surface Drape data, select the Polygon file and the Code used to identify the polygons.
- Select OK.
- Validate Imported Drillhole Data
