Rendering Type Property

The rendering type property enables the user to choose how borehole samples are displayed in the 3D Viewer. The Automatic mode is by default selected.

• Automatic (Bases on Preferences): The display of borehole samples is controlled by the thresholds defined in the 3D Views section of the Setting up Preferences window. If the total number of samples of the project exceed one of the two thresholds, borehole samples will be displayed as lines or as points.
• Tubes: Borehole samples are displayed as tube. 3D views preferences are ignored.
• Lines: Borehole samples are displayed as lines. 3D views preferences are ignored.
• Point: Borehole samples are displayed as points. 3D views preferences are ignored.

Note: For large data set, it is advised to display borehole sample as lines or as points.
