Data Validation

Data Validation is a wizard which aims at validate drillholes data imported into Isatis.neo-mining to integrate them in the Resources Workflow. The imported drillholes are unmodified. The Data Validation will create a new data set, corresponding to the Validated Drillholes, on which you will work in the workflow. The following steps are achieved:

  • Variables / Supports Selection to select the drillhole file and variables you want to validate.
  • Variables Validation / Role Assignment to define the role of the different variables.
  • Grade Specificities to deal with detection limits and replacement of non-sampled cores.
  • Field Limit Definition to delineate the area to be used for Domaining and Resource Estimation.
  • Look for Duplicates to identify duplicate samples which could create inversion problems during kriging calculations.

Note: The application interface will be different if it is launched for the first time or not.

If you launch it for the first time, you will find the interface below, starting directly with the Variables / Supports Selection:

If you launch it for the second time, you will find the interface below, asking you to choose between:

  • Change Input Boreholes File / Roles,
  • Redo Grade Specificities,
  • Redo Field Limits,
  • Redo Look for Duplicates.
