Estimation Validation

The Estimation Validation tool is meant to validate the numerical estimation results by checking that the estimates are compatible with the input borehole statistics. Several results such as the kriging or quick interpolation results (e.g. Inverse Distance, Nearest Neighbor) can be compared in the different graphical representations. The results can be filtered by a categorical domain variable.

The Estimation Validation application is located in the ribbon in Interpolation/Estimation.

When launching the application, a window with several sections opens. The data should be loaded and then the graphic representations will be computed. The parameters of each graph are reachable at anytime, to customize parameters before launching any calculation.
