Geostatistical Set Content

The Geostatistical Set is a tool specific to Isatis.neo. It involves grouping a set of consistent parameters. It is required to achieve Kriging and/or Simulations and it is built in the Exploratory Data Analysis. A geostatistical set is associated to one or several variables (in the multivariate case) and can contain for each referenced variable:

  • references to the raw variable(s), the gaussian variable(s) and/or the residuals if available, as well as a potential selection and weights variable,
  • the statistics calculated on the raw variable(s), the gaussian variable(s) and/or the residuals if available,
  • the anamorphosis,
  • the experimental variogram(s),
  • the associated model of variogram(s),
  • the stationarity option (simple kriging and its global mean(s), ordinary kriging or kriging with external drift) which will be used for kriging or simulations.
  • the external drifts (on grid and migrated on data points) and the associated coefficients.

The geostatistical set can contain variograms (experimental and models) computed both on raw variables and gaussian variables or on residuals (when applying drift(s)).
