Reporting / Messages

The Reporting window integrated in Isatis.neo is a standard writer processor. From this tab you can write a report including graphics, statistics, parameters from the different tasks. For more information please see the dedicated section Reporting.

The Messages is used whenever Isatis.neo is asked to display some numerical information (e.g. printing statistics on variables) and also when it needs to report messages about the current processing (e.g. intermediate results, warnings, etc.).

We differentiate the tasks which print a message asked by the user (Statistics, Print Info, Print Variable, etc.) to the tasks which print information (at the end of a run for example). In the first case, the Messages will be bring in front of the interface if this one is not active. Otherwise, a notification with a counter ("Messages (1)", "Messages (2)", "Messages (3)", etc) will be added to advertise that a message has been written in the Messages window and it is not the current shown window. When you will go on the Messages window (ie when the messages will be read), the messages counter will be reset.

• Click Send to Report to copy the content of the Messages into the Report.
• Click Save in File to save the message in a html file.
• Click Clear Contents to empty the Messages.

Some useful keyboard shortcuts in the report:

• Ctrl + S to save.
• Ctrl + A to select all.
• Ctrl + C to copy.
• Ctrl + X to cut.
• Ctrl + V to paste.
• Ctrl + Z to undo.
• Ctrl + Y to redo.
