Uniform Conditioning

Objectives

The Uniform Conditioning (UC) application is meant to calculate the recoverable reserves in panels for a given block support (mining application). Moreover, a specific option allows the calculation of the recovered metal of a secondary variable with the cutoff applied on the main variable.

Taking into account kriging results (which can be directly performed by the Uniform Conditioning task or which can be provided from a previous kriging calculation) and using the anamorphosis on the block support, the program creates for each grade element three variables per cutoff to store the total tonnage (T), the metal quantities (Q) and the mean grades (M) of panels for the different elements when the cutoff is applied on the main block grade.

The Localized Uniform Conditioning (LUC) can also be performed as a post-processing of the Uniform Conditioning.

An introduction page offers to choose the option:

  • Uniform Conditioning and Localization
  • Uniform Conditioning only
  • Localization only: Tonnage and Metal variables have to be previously generated either from Uniform Conditioning or from MIK.
