Tenement Colour-Coding and Status

Tenements on the map are colour-coded to represent various attributes.

  • Selected Tenements—Tenements you select are displayed as solid, opaque colours with a red border.
  • Tenement Status Colours:
    • Live Tenements—Display in green.
    • Pending Tenements—Display in blue.

    • Dead Tenements—Display in grey and remain visible on the map for five days.

Note: If a tenement is selected the colour is opaque, whereas unselected tenements remain transparent.

Note: For data sourced from mining departments outside Western Australia (WA), dead tenements are not included. When a previously available tenement no longer appears in the data, it is assumed to have one of the following statuses:

      • Dead (was Live)
      • Dead (was Pending)
  • Overlapping Tenements—Overlapping tenements display in a darker but still transparent colour that reflects the status colour of the tenements that overlap each other. Right-click on a tenement you wish to hide to expose the others details.

Tenement Details

When you hover your mouse over a tenement, it's details are displayed in the dynamic banner at the bottom of the map.
