Sort Data in a Data Grid

Important: Any changes you make to the display of a data grid are saved automatically and locally on your machine. When you next open that view, LandTracker displays the data grid as you last viewed it. You can also save customised views with new names, and if you are an editor or administrator, you can share a custom view with other users. See Manage Custom Views.

A blue arrow icon pointing up indicates that data in that column is sorted in ascending order. If the arrow icon points down, data is sorted in descending order.

To sort data:

  1. To sort a single column in ascending order, click the column header.

Note: The right-click context menu on a column header includes options to Sort Ascending and Sort Descending.

  2. To reverse the sort order of a column, click the column header again.
  3. To sort by multiple columns, hold down Shift while clicking the column headers.

To clear all sorting:

  1. To clear all sorting, right-click any column header and select Remove Sort from the menu.

To clear all locally stored changes to the column display, filtering, sorting and grouping:

  1. Right-click the view name or the data grid settings icon and select Reset View from the menu.
