Discrete Unit Package Groups
Discrete Unit Package Group Creation
Discrete unit package groups can be created:
- Via the Package Group Explorer
- From a Discrete Unit Location, Rail Siding, Truck Location, Barge Terminal or Port Location
- As a package group batch
- By specifying criteria for the package group and letting MineMarket select appropriate packages and create the package group (see Group Packages to Create Package Groups)
Package and Child Package Group Selection
Packages and package groups can be added to a discrete unit package group by:
- Searching for and selecting the discrete units manually
- Assigning packages from a parent package group to a child package group
- Specifying criteria for child package groups and letting MineMarket select appropriate packages for the child package groups
Moving Discrete Unit Package Groups
Discrete unit package groups can be moved from one discrete unit location or despatch location to another, or to divisions within those locations.
Despatching Discrete Unit Package Groups
Loading package groups onto a despatch and unloading them also creates discrete unit movements.
Discrete Unit Package Group Quality
Samples can be added to a discrete unit package group.
A discrete unit package group can be sampled when it is moved.
Otherwise, the discrete unit package group inherits the supply chain quality defined by the Base Assumption of the packing process flows used when creating the packages.
