Reject Packages

Security Note: You need the following security rights in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.
• Allow discrete unit maintenance
• Allow the user to reject discrete units

Activity Steps (for multiple packages)

1. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. Open the Package Explorer and search for packages. See Find Packages.
   2. Open the Discrete Unit Location, Rail Siding, Truck Location, Barge Terminal or Port Location. and select the Packages tab.
2. To select multiple consecutive packages:
   1. Click the first package.
   2. Press and hold down the Shift key.
   3. Click the last package.
3. To select multiple non-consecutive packages:
   1. Click the first package.
   2. Press and hold down the Ctrl key.
   3. Click each of the other packages.
4. Right-click a single package or the selected packages and select Reject » [Rejection Reason] from the menu. Select from the Rejected Package Reason list items defined in the List Editor.

   A confirmation message displays.

5. Click Yes.
6. Click Save.

Activity Steps (for a single package)

1. Open the Package.
2. Check Rejected.
3. Select the Rejection Reason from the Rejected Package Reason list items defined in the List Editor.
4. Click Save.
