Edit the Plan Worksheet

Security Note: You need the Allow planning maintenance security right in the Planning domain security rights group for this activity. To edit the required quantities of despatch orders, you also need the Allow the user to maintain despatch orders security right in the Contracts domain security rights group.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Plan.
  2. Select the Worksheet tab.
  3. Edit the Date of planned demands or despatch orders (DOs) if required.

    One of the following:

    • Read-only date of the planning period.
    • Editable date of the planned demand. If changed, the date of the planned demand on the Planned Demand tab is updated.
    • Date of the DO. Only editable if Lock Date Field For Actual Despatch Orders is unchecked on the Configuration tab.

    For a DO date:

    • If the worksheet is set to Include Actuals:
      • The bill of lading date if the DO has been loaded and a bill of lading date has been specified.
      • The planned despatch date of the DO if no bill of lading date has been specified.
      • A date from the logistics process if Use Bill Of Lading Date As Fulfilment Date is unchecked on the Configuration tab.
    • If the worksheet is set to Display Planned Only, the date is the planned despatch date of the DO.

    Note: If the date of a DO is changed in a plan, the date only affects the plan. The DO planned despatch date or bill of lading date is not updated on the actual DO.

    Note: The date of actual DOs may be locked, depending on the general configuration settings of the plan.

    If you edit a date, MineMarket reorders the position of the planned demand or DO row within the plan, and recalculates data across the worksheet. A status message in the bottom-left corner of the MineMarket interface displays the progress of the recalculation.

  4. To change the status of a DO, select the Demand Status from the statuses defined in the Planned Despatch Order status definition. Only displayed if Hidden On Worksheet is unchecked for Demand Status on the Configuration tab.

    Note: A user can only change the status of a planned despatch order if the allowed status transition for the Planned Despatch Order status definition is checked for the user group to which the user belongs. Status links may have been configured to only allow different users to change consecutive statuses. See Status Definitions.

  5. Add text Notes to planned demands or DOs if required. Only displayed if Hidden On Worksheet is unchecked for Notes on the Configuration tab.
  6. Add text Comments to any planning period, planned demand or DO for a date equal to or later than the current date if required. Displayed only if Hidden On Worksheet is unchecked for Comments on the Configuration tab.

    Note: The maximum length for Notes and Comments is 255 characters. Hover the mouse pointer over the cell to view the whole text as a tooltip.

  7. Select the Fulfillment Location for DOs if required. Select from the stock locations with Is Fulfillment checked on the Configuration tab.

    Preselected if one of the fulfilment locations matches the loading location or unloading location of the DO. The (un)loading locations may be determined from a despatch route; or from the Planned (Un)Loading Location or (Un)Loading Location Override of the DO if there is no despatch or if using generic locations.

  8. If Allow Updates To Despatch Order Required Quantities is checked on the Configuration tab, to update the required quantities:
    1. Edit the Required Quantity for one or more DOs for which the weight value source is Required Quantity.

      Note: Hover the mouse pointer over the quantity to view the weight value source as a tooltip. Modified cells have a blue fill colour and a tooltip with the text "Required Quantity Modified".

      Note: The required quantity of despatch orders with a closed or non-editable status (defined in the Despatch Order status definition) cannot be modified.

    2. If only one DO is modified, right-click the DO in the plan and select Update Required Quantity from the menu.

      MineMarket updates the Contracted Demand of the DO and other data and totals as required.

    3. If multiple DOs are modified, right-click the plan and select Update All Required Quantities from the menu.

      MineMarket updates the Contracted Demand of each DO and other data and totals as required.

  9. Click Save.

    If you have updated the Required Quantity of any DO in the worksheet, MineMarket updates the Required Quantity on the Despatch Order.
