Create a QP Profile Report Template

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to edit the QPP report Templates security right in the Intelligent Reporting domain security rights group for this activity. If you do not have that right, but do have the Allow the user to view the QPP Report Templates security right, the QP Profile Templates screen opens in read-only mode.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the QP Profile Templates screen.
  2. Right-click in the QP Profile Templates field group and select New from the menu.
  3. Update the Name if required.
  4. Complete the following fields.
    • From Relative Date—Start of the date range for selecting quotation periods (QPs). This date range filters despatch orders by QP dates; not by planned despatch or bill of lading dates.
    • To Relative Date
    • Despatch Order UOM—Unit of measure (UOM) in which to display the amounts of material in the despatch orders and quotas. Select from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
    • Contract Types—Select from Sales Contract and Purchase Contract. If both contract types are selected, the report displays the net quantity; that is, sales minus purchase.
  5. Complete the following fields as required to limit the applicability of the reports.
    • Material Types—Select from the material types defined on the Material panel of the Solution Explorer.
    • Products—Select from the products and brands defined on the Material panel of the Solution Explorer.
    • Customers—Buyers associated with sales contracts or sellers associated with purchase contracts. Select from the organisations and companies defined on the Organisations panel of the Solution Explorer and that have the Organisation Role of Customers.
    • End Users—End users associated with contracts. Select from the organisations and companies defined on the Organisations panel of the Solution Explorer.
    • Districts—Select from the districts defined on the Organisations panel of the Solution Explorer.
    • Contract Basis Types—Select from the Contract Basis list items defined in the List Editor.
    • Contract Statuses—Select from the statuses defined in the Sales Contract and Purchase Contract status definitions. See Status Definitions.
    • Despatch Order Statuses—Select from the statuses defined in the Despatch Order and status definition.
  6. Specify applicable analytes if required. For contracts with product pricing, despatch orders and quotas are included if the analyte is the main analyte of the contract product. For contracts with analyte pricing, despatch orders and quotas are included if the analyte is a payable analyte in the applicable set of contract terms.
    1. Right-click in the Analytes table and select New » [Analyte Definition from the menu. Select from the analytes defined on the Quality panel of the Solution Explorer.
    2. Update the following fields as required.
      • Unit—Unit of measure for the analyte content. MineMarket converts the content of the analyte to this unit for the report. Select from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
      • Decimals—Number of decimal places to which to round the analyte content in the QP Profile report.
  7. Select the Content Type from By Payable Content and By Content.
  8. Select whether to Include Quotas. If checked, quota snapshot balances are included. The contract quota balance is calculated as:
Quota Required Quantity – Sum of Despatch Order Quantities

However, if the sum of despatch order quantities is greater than the minimum quantity of the quota, the balance is considered to be zero. If no minimum quantity is specified for the quota, the balance is zero once the sum of despatch order quantities exceeds the required quantity of the quota.

  9. Select whether to Include Hedged Quantities. If checked, the quantities of any hedge actions recorded for the despatch orders and quotas are included. This makes it possible to view the exposure (that is, the unhedged amount) for each analyte and period.
  10. Click Save.
