Drag Objects

For some activities, you add objects to a group or screen by dragging the object from the Solution Explorer in the Navigation Pane.

Icon		Description
	Non-move area	You cannot drop the object when this icon displays.
	Move area	You can release the object when this icon displays. Ensure that the destination is directly under the arrowhead.

Activity Steps

1. Select the object in the Solution Explorer.
2. Hold down the left-hand mouse button and drag the object into a group or screen, and drop it by releasing the left-hand mouse button.

   Ensure that when using the drag-and-drop method to add an object into a group or onto a screen, the icon changes from the non-move area icon to the Windows mouse icon before releasing the selection.

3. If moving an object to a collapsed group node on the Solution Explorer, pause the dragging movement over the node to expand the node.
