Create a Business Area

A business area can only exist as a property of the site, or as a property of another business area.

Security Note: You need the Allow location maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Supply Chain node.
3. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level business area, right-click the Business Areas node and select New » Business Area from the menu.
   2. To set up a business area within a business area, right-click the business area and select New » Business Area from the menu.
4. Update the name of the business area node if required.
5. Click Save.
