Record the Tide Levels for a Location

This activity is applicable to stock locations, stockyards, waste locations and despatch locations. Despatch locations are rail sidings, truck despatch locations, barge terminals and port locations.

Security Note: You need the Allow tide maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Tides screen for the location.
2. Select the Tides tab.
3. Select the Start Date and End Date for data entry.
4. Click Search or press F3.
5. To record high and low tide levels, enter the High and Low tide levels in the High/Low Measurement table, for each day in the date period.

   Measurements are in metres. More than one high and low tide can be recorded on a particular day.

6. To record tide depth throughout the day, enter the Hourly Tide Level in the Standard Measurement table, for each hour of every day in the date period.
7. Click Save.
8. To view the tide summary, select the Summary tab.
