Set up a Location Group

A location group is a group of locations or stockyards that operate as one site entity.

Security Note: You need the Allow location maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Supply Chain » Business Areas node.
3. Right-click the Location Groups node and select New » Location Group from the menu.
4. Update the name of the location group node if required.
5. Expand the node for the business area of the locations to be included in the group.
6. Drag the required locations or stockyards onto the location group node.
7. To reorder locations and stockyards, right-click a location or stockyard and select Move First, Move Up, Move Down or Move Last as required.
8. Click Save.
