Set up a Container Category

Containers must belong to a container category or sub-category.

Security Note: You need the Allow container maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Discrete Units node.
3. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level container category, right-click the Container Categories node and select New » Container Category from the menu.
   2. To set up a container sub-category, right-click a container category and select New » Container Category from the menu.
4. Update the name of the container category node if required.
5. Click Save.
