Set up a Process Flow Category

All material flows (process flows, waste process definitions, packing process flows and discrete unit movements) must belong to a process flow category or sub-category.

Security Note: You need the Allow process flow maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Supply Chain » Process Flows node.
3. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level process flow category, right-click the Process Flows Categories node and select New » Process Flow Category from the menu.
   2. To set up a process flow sub-category, right-click a process flow category and select New » Process Flow Category from the menu.
4. Update the name of the process flow category node if required.
5. Click Save.
