Set up a Material Group

A material can be in multiple material groups.

Security Note: You need the Allow product maintenance security right in the Products domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Material panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Right-click the Material Groups node and select New » Material Group from the menu.
3. Update the name of the material group node if required.
4. Expand the Products node.
5. Drag each required product onto the Material Group node.
6. To reorder products in the group, right-click a material and select Move First, Move Up, Move Down or Move Last from the menu as required.
7. Click Save.
