Set up a Supply Material Category

Supply materials must belong to a supply material category or sub-category.

Security Note: You need the Allow supply material maintenance security right in the Supply user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Material panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level supply material category, right-click the Supply Materials node and select New » Supply Material Category from the menu.
   2. To set up a supply material sub-category, right-click a supply material category and select New » Supply Material Category from the menu.
3. Update the name of the supply material category node if required.
4. Click Save.
