Set up a Waste Material Category

Waste materials must belong to a waste material category or sub-category.

Security Note: You need the Allow waste material maintenance security right in the Waste Materials domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Material panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level waste material category, right-click the Waste Materials node and select New » Waste Material Category from the menu.
   2. To set up a waste material sub-category, right-click a waste material category and select New » Waste Material Category from the menu.
3. Update the name of the waste material category node if required.
4. Click Save.
