Specify Mine Source Products

If a current product is not defined for the mine source, when defining a process flow from the mine source to a stockpile, set the Assumption Type for the analytes to be Assume Product. The quality of the material transferred in transactions is then set to the quality of the destination product stockpile.

If the current product set for the mine source is changed, both products are viewable in the product history list. Each additional product defined is created as a mine source node under this current mine source, and takes the form of a WAG stockpile. For example, the list of products contained within the mine source might include topsoil or non-ore bearing rock, both of which are treated as stockpiles containing waste products, or ore-bearing rock, treated as a stockpile containing raw product. These stockpiles can be transacted from, thus updating the Quantity Removed.

Security Note: You need the Allow stockpile product maintenance security right in the Stockpiles domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Mine Source.
  2. Select the Details tab.
  3. Set the Product Type to Single Product or Multiple Product.

If set to Multiple Product, the Additional Products field group is enabled. This field group is usually used to add waste materials to the mine source.

  4. Select the Current Product from the products and brands defined on the Material panel of the Solution Explorer.

If you change the current product, MineMarket updates the Applicable Date and Product in the Product History field group. You can update the applicable date if required.

  5. Click Save.
