Configure Negative Stockpile Management Options for a Stockpile

These options manage contributor values and analyte quality if the stockpile has a negative balance. These options override the default options set for the stockpile's location. See Configure Negative Stockpile Management Options for a Location.

Security Note: You need the Allow stockpile maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the WAG Stockpile, FIFO Stockpile or LIFO Stockpile.
  2. Select the Negative tab.
  3. Select the Negative Method from:
    • Previous Period WAG (default)—Assign the weighted average of the stacking contributors and analytes from the previous configurable number of periods.
    • Assume Null—No negative method calculations are applied.
  4. If Negative Method is Previous Period WAG, select the Shift Definition from the shift definitions defined on the Supply Chain panel of the Solution Explorer.
  5. If Negative Method is Previous Period WAG, select the Date Option for the selected shift from:
    • Start of Shift
    • End of Shift
    • Start of Previous Shift
    • End of Previous Shift
  6. Select whether to Assume Product Quality; that is, whether to assume that the stockpile quality is the same as the product's specification. If checked, only contributor values are calculated with the Negative Method. If unchecked, the Negative Method is used for both contributor values and analyte quality. Default: Unchecked.
  7. Click Save.
