Create a Shift Definition

Security Note: You need the Allow shift maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Shift Categories node.
3. Right-click a shift category and select New » Shift Definition from the menu.

   The Shift Definition displays.

4. Update the Name if required.
5. Enter a Description if required.
6. To create shifts automatically:
   1. Enter the First Shift Start time and Number Of Shifts.
   2. Click Create.
7. To create shifts manually, right-click in the Shifts table and select New from the menu.

   MineMarket creates shifts with equal duration.

8. Edit the Shift name and Start Time as required.

   MineMarket updates the End Time and Duration.

9. Select a Back Colour for each shift if required. You can right-click a square in the Palette tab to define a new colour.
10. To reorder shifts, right-click a shift and select Move Up or Move Down from the menu.
11. Click Save.
