Set up a Shift Category

Shift definitions must belong to a shift category or sub-category.

Security Note: You need the Allow shift maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level shift category, right-click the Shift Categories node and select New » Shift Category from the menu.
   2. To set up a shift sub-category, right-click a shift category and select New » Shift Category from the menu.
3. Update the name of the shift category node if required.
4. Click Save.
