Set up a Dead Zone within a Stock Row

A dead zone is an area in a stock row in a stockyard where stock cannot be placed.

Security Note: You need the Allow stockyard maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Stockyard Configuration for the stockyard.
2. Select the Stock Rows tab.
3. Select the stock row for which the dead zone is to be set up.
4. Right-click in the Dead Zones field group and select New from the menu.
5. Complete the following fields.
   • Start Metre
   • End Metre
6. Click Save.
