Cancel a Transaction

Use this activity to cancel a bulk material transaction; for example, if a transaction was incorrectly entered but a record of the incorrect transaction should be kept for audit purposes. You can only cancel transactions if the transaction date is after the latest archive date.

This activity applies only to stockpile-to-stockpile transactions. Other transaction types—transactions in a manual blend, despatch loading and unloading transactions, packing and unpacking transactions and tolling transactions—can be deleted but not cancelled.

If a transaction is cancelled:

• The transaction quantity and summary mass change to zero.
• Changes to the source and destination stockpiles are reverted.
• The transaction details are still visible in applicable MineMarket screens and tabs but display as strike-through text.
• The transaction cannot be edited except to undo the cancellation.

In MineMarket configurations with B2MML integration, transactions can also be cancelled using a B2MML adaptor. See Cancel Transactions.

Security Note: You need the Allow transactions maintenance security right in the Transactions user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Find the transaction to be cancelled in the applicable Transaction Editor.
2. Check Cancelled in the transaction row.

   The transaction details display as strike-through text.
   

3. Select the Cancellation Reason from the Cancelled Transaction Reason Code list items defined in the List Editor.
4. Click Save.
5. To undo the cancellation, uncheck Cancelled.
